Are you ready to embark on an exhilarating journey into the dynamic world of fifth grade?
Greetings, I'm Ms. Massar, your dedicated guide and teacher for the upcoming school year. Armed with two years of fifth-grade expertise and a solid seven-year foundation in second-grade teaching, I am thrilled to make my debut at Cooper Elementary.
From the enchanting halls of Prince William County Schools in Northern Virginia to the spirited classrooms of Killeen ISD in Texas, my teaching voyage has been a whirlwind of diverse experiences. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting the remarkable students and families of Georgetown ISD.
Beyond academics, I proudly embrace the role of a mother, witnessing my own young daughter blossom into seventh grade. Our shared excitement for friendly Mario Kart competitions adds an extra layer of anticipation, as we engage in a battle for supremacy. Embracing the countless wonders of technology, I find myself somewhat of a tech enthusiast and guru.
Within our classroom, you can expect not only a center for learning, but also a space filled with laughter and joy. Brace yourselves for an engaging and unforgettable school year!

Hi! Welcome to my page! I am so excited for my first year teaching here at Cooper Elementary. This is my second year of teaching overall. Last year I taught 7th grade history and was a football and basketball coach. This year I will be teaching language arts and social studies.
I earned my bachelor's degree in May 2020 from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. After that, I went on to complete a graduate school program through the University of Southern California which I finished in May 2022. I am still somewhat new to Texas as I only moved here last summer, but I have enjoyed getting to know the area and meeting so many great people.
For fun, I love to try different restaurants, travel, listen to and play music, and hang out with my two cats Ruby and Summer who I adopted right when I moved to Texas.
We are going to have a great 5th grade year, and I cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you!
