Welcome to the Music Page at Cooper Elementary! I am so excited to be at Cooper and I can't wait to instill a love of music in each student.
This will be my 25th year teaching music and I am excited to be at Cooper another year. I have taught music in Idaho, California, Oregon and Texas, and I truly feel blessed to be able to teach in Georgetown ISD. We moved to Georgetown 9 years ago and love being a part of this wonderful Texas community. My husband and I have 3 children. Our son is a junior at Baylor, our middle daughter is a 12th grader and our youngest is a 9th grader.
I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2000 with my Bachelor's in Music Education with a vocal/band emphasis. I continued my education at PLNU and graduated in 2005 with my Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing, playing my sax, coffee connoisseur, traveling, and crafting.
